I'm not sure at this point what else I can do to clean up/re-build my credit? Going through messy divorce where he rarely worked and I'm pretty much stuck with a lot of debt that has since gone to collections. Most of it has been settled/paid off since or a couple are in payment arrangements that will be cleared up by the end of the year. (sooner if I'm able) My TU FICO is 505 (pulled from here). My EQ FICO is 517 (lender pull for car loan). Unsure about EX but should be close.
Do I just need to let things age? I don't think there is anything I can dispute. Except a late payment with NFCU on my car loan the month before I paid it off and trying to work on that but they won't admit they made a mistake. I've just recently opened an auto lease through Chase last month (my dad co-signed). I've got 3 secured credit cards. The two with USAA I continue to add money to get my limit higher. My current utilization is probably about 21% but should be down much lower by end of July. (and will be kept lower) I'm not sure what else I should be doing. I'm working on a savings account for emergencies and also starting slowly to contribute again to my company's 401(k) plan that they match.
So far you are doing everything right. Keep paying on time with your current lenders Send GW letters to the paid settled accounts to see if they can be removed. Let your current credit cards age. Credit rebuilding does take time. Patience is a virtue!!!!

Sounds like you are doing everything you can right now. I have been in the same circumstances and it will just take time now. Mine was a while back but still trying to rebuild from it and was just able to start contributing to my 401 last year again.
Keep doing what you're doing and keep your head up. If you have any paid baddies on there, send them a GW every so often. Wouldn't hurt.
For paid off debt send out GW letters. For debt nearly paid off, ask for a PFD.
I understand GW letters because I've used them for lates before (never had any luck though). But how do I word it if I'm asking for a paid collection to be deleted? Do I send to the OC which is showing charged off account or to the CA who I ended up paying??
You send it to both of them if they are both reporting.
