Finally got my last collection removed. Had a total of 4 when I first started four months ago. I wasn't as lucky as some people here. After everything removed my credit didn't go up as much. The only negative I have showing is a closed mortgage loan with 17, (120-180 days) late payments. I I'm in the process of getting it clean. My first set of GW letters (22 total) are going out Monday morning in hopes to reach the right person who will be nice to enough to remove the lates. My payment history is pretty much non existent so I'm sure they are hurting me bad.
This is what I have done so far in my rebuilding process.
-Secured Discover it $400 SL. 4% Utilization. (I use this card for everything. Over 2000 a month but only let it report less than $25.00). I was told to call after the end of this billing statement so I can add more money to increase my CL. Planning to Max it if allowed.
-Capital One Platinum $300SL 3% Utilization. I only use it to pay my wifi bill.
-Got a secured loan thru my local credit union.
Showing six inquires. Age of credit history is 2 months.
For those of you with experience. What should my next move be? Or should I just relax and not pay much attetnion to it and just let it grow with time?
Those lates are what is killing you. Getting them removed would help a lot. Should let one of the cards report a zero balance at statement time. Otherwise, the best thing you can probably do is to give it time and let your accounts age.

Just wondering how you only have two months of credit history and closed mortgage with 17 120-day lates.
Credit history as in credit cards. I just got them both in the last 3 months. I have only made a total of four payments so far. The BB&T mortgage account was closed back on Dec 2013.

I see.
If my math is correct, those 17 lates should start falling off your report sometime this year... even sooner with the help of early exclusions.
Yes, that's correct. According to discover credit score I started with 19 when I first signed up. I'm down to 17. So it looks like they are going down one per month as the months go by. I have my next update on 2/19/2019 so I hope to see that go down again.
Are any of the lates in a sequence? If they are all of the ones in the sequence should fall once the first one hits 7 years.
When you hit the month of the first one in that sequence, then they should all fall.
