So I had a medical bill from my daughter's ER visit in 11/2011 now I gave them my insurance about a month later which they never filed. I never received the bill and thought the situation was handled. Rewind to November 2012 I get a letter from a collection agency stating that I owed 544 for her visit. I called them that day and told them she had insurance and should have been filed. I faxed them the information and didn't think to check back. I get another letter in Jan and I call again and the woman I spoke with told me that since my address wasn't on my insurance card then they didn't file the claim. **bleep**? I argued with her until she was like oh you're a federal employee ok I'll file it. I didn't understand why that made a difference. I called 2 weeks later to see if they filed it and they told me that it was filed but BCBS failed to pay because it wasn't filed in a timely matter and that I'm responsible. Well I never received a statement from BCBS and of course I didn't believe an ounce of what they told me. Anyways I called the OC and told them to file it. Last month I received a statement from BCBS telling me they paid a portion of the bill which wasn't much maybe almost a 100 off. Now after that fiasco I filed a complaint with BBB about this company they responded saying that the account is on hold until it is filed with BCBS. Well I wasn't happy about that so I rejected their response and wrote another back. I just received an email from BBB stating that this company has failed to respond to my last statement to them. Now I have filed a dispute with CRA and it came back validated this morning. What do I need to do next?

Did you file a dispute online? if you did the CRA's use E-Oscar to validate, I myself find it better to call the CRA and file a dispute over the phone.
Yes I filed a dispute online but it came back verified. But it's not accurate.
I would file a direct dispute with the furnisher of the information under FCRA 623(a)(8).
