When Does a Collection Fall Off and What Happens if it doesn't, What are the options?

I was told by TRANS that a collection would be coming off June 2012.. Does it fall off at the beginning of the month or end of month? When should I expect the update? Has anyone had to contact the CRA because the collection didn't come off?

Varies depending on CRA.  If it stays on past the max reporting time of 7.5 years you can dispute it as being past the credit reporting time with the CRA's.

not collection but I had a CO that fell off EX/EQ but not TU, online disputed it saying it was too old, removed in a couple days.

+1.....Yes varies with CRA's, IME some in beginning some at the end of month
