Yet another rebuilder - what should I do first?!

Hey guys! I'm 24 and recently have gained the ability to start rebuilding my formerly excellent credit, which went [very] south back in 2010. So far, I've checked and cleaned up my credit reports. All 3 bureaus are now reporting accurately. That alone has bumped my score nearly 60 points from its low. I'm confused as to what next steps I should take. I know I've screwed some companies over in my past - I won't deny that. I just don't want to flush any money down the drain if it's for nothing, if you know what I mean. I've got 5 open collections, plus 1 judgment, to take care of - some of which are quite large. All of them are over 3 years old. Do I make good on them? Pay settlements, pay in full, or should I just bide my time and let them fall off? I don't get harassing phone calls; just the occasional letter. The 'big guns' I've yet to move on are a $7400 Bank of America Visa (CO), a $2400 Citi MasterCard (CO, judgment), AT&T ($2000), and other various little ($100-300) ones that I'll pay ASAP if you all think it's a better move to pay rather than wait.

Thank you in advance to anybody that replies! I'll keep a vigilant watch on this thread to answer any questions/comments.

If I was in your situation, I would work for PFD (Pay for delete) on those collections as first step.  You will find lots of post on that topic.  Essentially, you are asking the CAs to delete the collection account in exchange for paying part (or whole, preferrably) of the total amount.
