I am trying to negotiate for a PFD through their chat.
has anyone done this before?
what does it mean when they say
:"By the way, we are speaking on behalf of CP Medical, LLC"
Does that mean that CP Medical, LLC owns the debt instead of Commonwealth?
Does that mean COmmonwealth has no authority to remove it from my reports?
Please advise. The settlement amount is not as important as the PFD procedure.
Thanks in advance!
Commonwealth Financial has the authority to remove their own reporting. And it sounds to me like CP Medical, LLC still owns the debt.
so am i right to assume this process?
commonwealth tells CP med that they received payment.
commonwealth deletes the account from my report
cp med marks the account as satisfied.
no collection account for this debt will ever report again correct?
I haven't done PFD's myself, but that looks about right. Is CP reporting too?
the owner of the account has not reported anything . i just received a pfd letter fromcommonwealth
Sounds very good.

thank you,
i made the payment over the phone. Payment went through and they approved it and sent me this:
Commonwealth Financial Systems, Inc. is authorized to resolve the above-mentioned account. As long as all funds have cleared, this shall confirm this debt as "Satisfied" and you will have no further obligation to the above referenced creditor. We will also notify the three major credit bureaus to delete the above referenced account as soon as possible. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
That is a rock solid and enforceable contract offer.
I would jump on it.
