making good progess durring rebuild and here is how

I started to work hard to rebuild my credit beginning of august. Mid to end of july my scores were all within a few points of each other lingering around 560. I had a 98% utilization and 7 recent late payments along with a charge off last years and two other chsrge offs that are about 4 years old and several other late payments.

I made several calls for good will to clear a few lates and had success removing two of the most recent i had. I also worked very hard to get my balances paid down and have all but two cards reporting a zero balance. I did have one baddie fall off and im waiting for eq and ex to update as well. Lastly im in the process of more good will letters to try and remove the other late payments i have and looking for any inaccuracies.

As of today tu is a 673 eq 615 and ex 617. Again waiti g for the lower scores to update. My utilization is dosn to 54% and falling even faster now. My goal is to reach 700 by the end of year and i believe it is possible.

To everyone that is down and think its impossible to bounce back it is possible just work hard and be patient. Ive spends many hours on phone calls and letters.

I look forward to keeping everyone updated on my progress.

It's one hell of a bumpy road isnt it? 700 should be thereas long as you

stick to it. I myself  just made my last payments to all my cards and now

owe nothing. It's nice to look back on it too and what you've learned from it.

You'll get there. Perserverance and paying as much as you can will pay off (pun int?).

What I did with online checking was break my payments weekly so nothing

is lopsided. How many times you hear others say 'oh this bill is due this week'

not sure if im going to have enough  blah blah blah. Know your payment, when

it's due, and break it up. ex. $100/mo, then make $35/wk payments. In 3 weeks

its covered and the 4th week is extra. Does it make sense? The interest gets

knocked down too as you go. Plan ahead, way ahead. Thats your goal.

Kudo for you!

@Picktool bi-weekly payments are huge. especially in larger and longer loans. such as mortgages obviously. bi-weekly payments alone can drop a 30 year mortgage by 5 years. saving extreme amounts of interest. i highly promote bi-weekly payments whenever possible.
