I never even used the letter, just disputed the line with the CRAs and it was deleted.
@Anonymous wrote:Okay this should be simple. CA bought debt from ATT and add their interest. So lets say original amount was $300 and collection starts charging you 24% on it. This happened to me with EOS CCA on T mobile bill.
Simply google ATT contract and try to locate any information regarding defaulted accounts and collections. If there is nothing that states that ATT or CA has the right to add interest then simply file a complaint.
But first email to Enhanced Recovery and tell them to delete tradeline or you will file a complaint. But first you need to be sure that nothing on ATT contract states that they have right to charge interest.
eric9k can you please pm the letter contact information for Enhanced Recovery!!! Thanks.
They added an account to my credit this morning with ATT and I just want to cry. I am currently in underwriting and schedule to close Aug 22nd. I need this acct of ASAP.
Hi Erik,
If you don't mind could you PM me the letter as well. Just so I understand the process. I first ask Enhance Recovery to verify the debt. If they send me just a total, then I send the claim letter?
Thank you so much for being so helpful.
Hi Erik, can you PM it to me too?
I just checked my credit today, buying a house, and ERC put out one with ATT too. I haven't had an account with ATT in nearly 6 yrs. They are showing a date of 2012.
So frustrated, and I need to get it off right away. Thanks!
