they rang my home phone, calling in response to a PFD. they explained all they could do was mark it paid, and i said well before i pay a debt i don't recognize, i would need proof it was my debt, (i didn't say i was iffy on it, because it could have been my old roommate's account (a very old landline from 1993). then she got nasty, saying i had admitted responsibility by writing to them. then she claimed she never got the very letter she was calling about! thing is, it would be a landline from 2003. cr says dola 2005! LIES!!! if this is mine, that's an outright lie.
