what to do about utilities?

I need some help here. I have been a lurker on here for awhile now and have raised my score about 80 points! Just have a question. I have a collection with Solomon & Solomon for 1,715 ( NYSEG is the original creditor) . Not sure what to do with this one. PFD?? please help!!

Need more information about the account.

How old is the account, what is the DOFD and where do you currently reside?

Sorry lol, new to this.

Says placed for collection 06/2006 Not seeing DOFD. It also says account open? So confusing!

Welcome.

If you pull your full Equifax report it will have the DOFD. Reports from third party sites often don't have that information. Have you pulled your free reports from Free Annual Credit Reports 

From a BK years ago to:
7/09 TU-742 EQ- 779
8/09 TU-765 EQ- 783
9/09 EX pulled by lender 802

You can do the same thing with hard work.
