Best Action? Collections Account

I am trying to clean things up on my CR and found a collection account; original creditor Pacific Rim Path Medical Group, I think this might be from some lab testings when I did not have health insurance, but not positive.

Amount due is $76; it says the date opened was 02/2008 and has been reported since 05/2008.

I'm thinking a PFD might be my best option but wanted to ask everyone's advice.

TIA!

Re: Best Action? Collections Account

Looks like a medical account.

Head over the HIPAA thread for the process on this.  Bottom line, paid medical collections are not supposed to stay on your report.  But there's a whole process for making that happen.

If you have the money to pay off this debt in full, please read the medical collection & HIPAA letter process in my sig line.
