HIPAA step #2

Ok, with Step 2---I print the letters and send them to my current CCC's, mortage bank, school loans, and car bill.  Is this correct or only my current credit cards?

What if I am an authorized user on a CC?

Re: HIPAA step #2

Actually, what you're asking about is part of step #1, step #2 talks about your address on your CR. In any event, yes, you would opt-out with all of your current creditors. This includes: CCCs, mortgage lenders and any others creditors you have installment loans with. Just make sure you are in good standing with though. Since you are not the primary card holder on this AU account, and you are not responsible for any money owed on this account, its not possible for you to opt-out on this account.

Re: HIPAA step #2

ok--it is actually step 1---putting in info ie. address, SS#, phone number.

Step 2--thanks--I assume you can mail them the same day as the HIPPA letter?
