Medical Judgment Payoff

I had three judgments that I recently paid off.  One from 2004, from 2005 and the other from 2007.  Two of them were medical judgmenst.  Because of the HIPAA laws, will the two medical judgments fall off immediately since they are is now paid?

It is my understanding that the judgment and information contained is not protected under HIPAA and you can not use the HIPAA process to have a judgment removed.

I am going to move this to the medical debt board so you can get some more information.

+1! Sidewinder is correct. Medical judgments are exempted under the HIPAA privacy act.
