ok, I got a letter in the mail yesterday from the CA stating in English on company letter head that if I was to settle for the amount of 200. of the 365.balance it would be considered paid in full and removed from the CR. Now, I can do this BUT, if I go though the HIPAA process,and not pay the CA, would it be erase from my CR because insurance already paid it or will I end up paying the entire balance under the HIPAA? You also stated that it was very dangerous to go though this process and not have the funds to pay for it.Maybe I should contact the OC (hospital) and have the insurance fax the paid statement to them.I really don't feel I should have to pay this bill when I know that it was already covered by the insurance company. I don't know what to do??? Thanks for all your help.
