Paid Medical Collection Question?

I have 1 paid medical collection on EX and TU. That is about 3 yrs old is there a way to have that removed I call and asked if they would remove out of good faith and of course was shot down very rudely. Also tried to call the original creditor and was told I needed to contact the collection company. I don't know if anyone has had luck with this but any suggestions would be great.

I haven't heard of a FA being placed on reports by using the HIPAA process.
