In order to stay out of the CC boards, unsuccessfully I might add, I wandered over here a couple of weeks ago and have read and read and read! And occasionally cursed myself for not getting here sooner!
I have one paid med collection on EQ and EX from 2005 (paid in 06). I've done the opting out, everything is updated with CRA's and am sending my handwritten letter certified mail to the cra's according to the steps outlined!
Now is the hard part....waiting!!
Question: Once the collection acct is deleted, (positive thinking there
) and it is the only derog on a file, will that put one in a different scoring bucket?
