No credit card required
Browse credit cards from a variety of issuers to see if there's a better card for you.
Applying is fun when you see the approval message after you apply, but what feels even better is looking at your credit report and seeing no inquiries. Once you stop applying and garden for a bit the urge to apply will pass.
I think a lot of people get addicted to applying for credit cards when they start to read this forum, and many regret afterwards start to cancel their useless cards.
do what you gotta do to avoid applying for credit card that you won't ever use.

Is there a question coming sometime soon? If not Im pretty sure this will get moved to die in smorgasboard.
I agree, this is a Smorgasboard thread.
OP, if you are serious that you cannot stop applying and it is causing you stress, you may want to consider taking a break reading the Credit Card and Credit Card Approvals threads. If that does not work, it may help to take a break from the forum altogether. Many people have been in the position where you are right now and by taking a break from reading all of the approvals, they were able to stop apping.
Just my 2 cents.
It helps if you have a plan. Figure out your spending needs and a short list of cards that fit those needs. First figure out of your profile can fit those (or any) cards. If it can, or once it can, apply for one every couple of months to a year (not a spree if your profile can't support it).
well, when you start getting declined, your AAOA goes to crap, and the inq's rack up, or your current lenders take AA on you..then you'll stop. You have to have a little self control. Are you like this in any other aspects of your life? If so...you might need to talk to someone.
