Am I wrong to want a Card because it's Pretty?!

Hahaha If this needs to go to SmorgBoard please move but I was curious am I the only one that sees a card and goes OOOOOOOO that is pretty I wouldn't mind having that card even if I wasn't really looking at that Bank/Lender or searching for that particular reward LOL.    I was reading my emails and an add popped up about a Discover IT card that was a very pretty blue and I was like.....I am not looking into Discover and am definitely reserving that spot for my app next month, but that color is so prettttttyyyyyyyy hahahahahaha.     Is it just me?!   Am I wrong to want it for the color (even if I may use it for the Cash Reward) lmao someone help XD

When I first joined this forum I was surprised as to how important card appearance was to many people (including the "it's metal!!!!!" type stuff).   So yes, you are wrong but have a lot of company!

Really though, providing it's a reasonably good choice otherwise, choosing a card for appearance is fine.   Just don't go for the oh-so-pretty no rewards $50 monthly fee card!

@Anonymous   LMAO yea for that type of card I would definitley think long and hard on if it would be a benefit,   but if it's no annual fee and the card sounds like something I may use then......I get an itch XD

Discover IT card isn't that bad of a card really, but in person oh boy it shines. I personally have the blue as my color and I like whipping it out. It also has a riffle like texture to it.
