Cap1 now allows you to change image on EMV CCs

Last time I checked, Capital One wouldn't let me customize my EMV QS card.  Today they let me choose a different image for the card.  I think the QS card is OK, but I do like a little variety in my cards.

PS.  Sorry if this is a duplicate post.  I searched, but couldn't find another post about Cap1 allowing you to change the image on an EMV card.

I didn't know, post fine as far as I am concerned. Now, if they would send me an EMV card (well, I did turn down the upgrade to regular quicksilver, but have perma annual fee waived), and a few other things. Waiting to decide what I will do with card. So they are probably waiting on EMV chip. Smiley Wink

Thanks for sharing...  Something is going on with the site.  I have been having problems the last 2 days trying to post links and it won't let me.

Re: Cap1 now allows you to change image on EMV CCs

That's good news, thanks for sharing.  I will point out though, that a few months ago I was able to submit an image for my QS card, but only heard a few days later that they couldn't change it because it is an EMV card.  It would be great if this is now available.

Re: Cap1 now allows you to change image on EMV CCs

I didn't try uploading an image.  I don't know if that works or not.   However, all of the stock images had EMV chips.

I chose one of the stock images of a cheetah and clicked on submit.  This morning I had an email saying my image was approved.  I am not sure why they had to approve an image I found on their site.   At least the email said I should be getting the card in 7-10 business days.

When I changed my Wells Fargo debit card to a customized image they had to "approve" it as well... and it was also one of their own stock images.

I agree it's strange... I guess it's just the automation?
