This is something I have suspected for a while but have been able to confirm the past couple of days.
Chase isn't using daylight savings time on its system.
I've logged in at 12:01 AM and log out and log back in and it will say last login 11:01 PM. I've done this repeatedly at different times of the day and their system clock is still off.
Today I even tested it with a small charge. I charged after midnight on the 21st which is the 22nd and it still registers as 11something PM. After 1 AM on the 21st, I made another small charge and it registered as 12something PM on the 22nd. What gives?
Intentional or just sloppy Sys-Admins?

The large corp I used to work for kept all backend systems on central standard time year-round regardless of where anyone was located, so this isn't unheard of.
Of course the designers of the front-end web applications can make them to act however they want, even different for each user (such as myFICO does).
Keep in mind also that some areas of the U.S. don't recognize DST.

They also don't use case-sensitive passwords.
