One thing I miss about the Marvel card is the near universal "this card is so cool!" comment I would get in restaurants at the Captain America shield design. It's the only time I've ever had anyone comment on a card. I think it would probably take some kind of pop culture reference to get me to ever comment on someone else's. I don't think I've ever noticed anyone else's cards, myself.

I do miss Captain America shield card! Very cool design and decent rewards.
Now I mostly get comment about metal cards when used!
Most people are private about their finances which includes banks and credit cards, but I talked few people out of using Debt Cards.
I found it how strange it is that most people know very little about CCs, but once the conversation come up mostly are interested especially about rewards!

This. Plus, it's not in my nature to be nosy like that nor my business what people use as a form of payment 🤷♂️ even when individuals still use checks.
@PullingMeSoftly I've actually done it a few times, and have had interesting conversations actually. I find it surprising how many people have no clue.
The Marvel Card was my fave for that. It was the best conversation starter 🤣 I actually had a cashier at Scooters compliment the appearance of my Aspiration Zero card a few days ago, but the best was when I gave my daughter the Amex Platinum to pay for her learner's permit... the guy at the front door checking the documents had fun with it.
Nope, don't comment for the same reasons @Brian_Earl_Spilner said. Awkward, people must likely won't know what I'm talking about, and/or I may offend them. Also, I'm not that extroverted (actually I'm very introverted).
I've had a discussion about rewards/CC appearances once with a coworker because we both happened to pull out a Navy MoreRewards card at lunch.

Amazon truly missed the boat with Rings of Power. They should have released a limited time edition of the Amazon Prime card with a balrog.
I don't comment to strangers about their cards (they'd probably look at me like I have two heads), but I do remember actually seeing an Amex Platinum somewhere. I forget where now. I thought it looked pretty cool in person.
I see a lot of people use debit too. My brother uses his almost exclusively. I guess he doesn't care about cashback. If I tell him I use credit cards for pretty much everything he'd probably roll his eyes and start harping on about debt and irresponsible spending. LOL... I PIF before statement cut.

At his most recent visit, my brother and I had a long discussion about credit cards after he pulled out a CSP to pay for dinner. We hadn't realized we shared many of the same philosophies about credit until then, but it ended up being quite a topic of conversation. In general, I don't make comments to others about using a particular card - I typically don't even notice what cards people use, I figure it's none of my business, tbh.
I don't get in anyone else's business. Whether what card they use or if they are strictly debit or cash even. It is none of my business. A lot of people have absolutely no interest in rewards. Some are strictly debit or cash because of bad credit or that is how they control their spending. I also quit judging if someone else's card is declined as I had a run about 5 years ago with AMEX where my Platinum would get declined every third charge or so, even with no balance.

I'd carry that card for funsies.
