Re: Credit Card tricks: to share or not to share?

I would like to apologize for my strong words. I am afraid I am having a stressful day. And I usually find peace, excitement, etc at myfico when I have a minute to sit down. As someone who is going through a credit card sign up bonus withdrawal, I was offended. But you have the right to post as you wish, its not my right to decide that.

I still stand by what I said as my feelings were valid. I don't think I would ever post something that would make someone else feel left out. If anything, I am consistently receiving kudos from other members about the things I post as I am still learning. Sure most of it is regurgitated BS but that is how a person learns. They teach what they have just learned. AKA I feel like what I contribute here has been of value to others, no?

What I said was not Friendly respective or supportive, but you have to admit the OP's post was not respectful either. It was disrespectful.

Again, apologies for saying the thread was stupid. I did not directly call anyone stupid though. Hope everyone has a great day and again my apologies.

Um no  If the OP had said something like "I know a great trick but I'm not going to share it here because you little people will ruin it for me", that would be disrespectful.   But the original question, no, IMO.

Re: Credit Card tricks: to share or not to share?

I appreciate your most recent post, jfriend. How is my post disrespectful?

In retrospect I should have named this "do you ever keep things to yourself?" or perhaps I didn't even have to post it.

I was trying to gauge whether or not others find out things but then keep it to themselves due to the "myFico effect".

My intent was never to make people feel left out.

You only have to look at the recent 100K platinum thread, old Beaver threads, CapOne EO threads, DC $200 bonus threads, and the like to see that sometimes too much of a good thing is not a good thing.
