You all do a wonderful job and are to be commended.Smiley Wink

Your job is not easy in any aspect but due to your commitment by far this is the best forum and to that I say BRAVO

I think we all care about the forum and just want to pay it forward.

I have seen vast amounts of new members joining everyday and while I don't have the data capabilities to know just how many.

I would say MyFico has grown enormously large in the last few months.

Just my thoughts from the post I see on all the different MyFico forums I post in and frequent daily.

I would be interested in knowing just how much growth over the last few months..... Truly...Seriously....No jokeSmiley Wink

I could not have said it better myself. I have seen MANY posts lately by new visitors with only 1 or 2 posts. I was a lurker for about 2 years before I joined. This forum as literally improved my quality of life.

Here are just a few metrics that I can pull up pretty quickly.  These are on a monthly basis from Jan. 1 through July 31.  The metrics drop off somewhat during the summer months from May - Sept. and then pick back up.  But as you can see, page views have risen exponentially, which indicates a lot of "lurkers".  Smiley Wink

Posters like Hauling need to have an infinity symbol placed underneath their name.

Re: Daily life of a Mod/Admin/Comm leader

I say that in jest, but it's quality, not quantity, that counts. Half of my posts were fluff, warnings, moved post mentions, etc.

But back to the org. topic for a second and speaking in my former mod days, it was almost impossible to become a mod if there were any single past warnings for spam, Credit Repair Discussion Guideline issues (e.g. advocating the disputing of accurate info), troll-like behavior, and non-adherance to any of the rules on here. If a poster cannot comply with the rules, then it's expected they won't enforce them and that's not mod or CL material. Now slip-ups are expected from everyone. One or even maybe to minor scrapes with the TOS are expected. But repeats of the same issue means that the poster doesn't get it or doesn't care and they were forever removed from any future consideration, at least in my and other mods' minds. There were other things we had considered like involvment in other credit forums (couple of past issues relating to that), lack of education on credit-related issues, periods of non-involvement were sometimes a factor, indicators of future involvement, participation on other boards, and several others.
