Good news, for some future we aren't close to yet

Also extending the companion certs makes ssense as well.

All the airlines have a mountain to climb out of this so it makes sense they want to keep their known customers happy.

I think it's going to inflate some status levels next year and there'll be a wave of one-time Platinums and Diamonds. I already had 23k miles on this very short flying year so far and will almost certainly get more in 2020 ... and now I get to start next year with that much of a head start?

I can't imagine how many others are in similar boats. Not that upgrades on non-leisure routes ever happened anyway...
