Delta status extended again

Got an email today that my Delta Silver status is extended again to January 2023. This is a relief. Even with the status boost offers this year, I'm just not flying anywhere. One trip coming up, but not enough to get MQD or MQM to maintain Silver.

I'm still thinking maybe a Delta Reserve or Delta Platinum AMEX card may be worthwhile but not needed for 2021 anyhow.

If I could, I'd change my Bonvoy Brilliant to a Delta card, but certain that would not be possible.

I got the same email today as well, and I am fairly relieved. My company is gradually pulling travel restrictions off of us, so I'll probably get in three or four trips between now and the end of the year, but the odds of me flying enough in 2021 to maintain my status without the extension is somewhere be slim and none.

I'm hoping other companies follow suit. I'd love to have my Southwest credit extended. I planned to travel before the year ends, but I'm starting to waver.
