Endless spam calls for loans after getting an auto loan

I've been getting a crazy amount of spam calls since I got my auto loan in October. It's almost every day. Sometimes a few times per day. Morgan and Jacob really want to hook me up with $75000+ and they call from many different numbers.

Who did you get your auto loan from?  I got a loan from Toyota Finance in the fall of 2022 and never got any such calls.

Chapter 13:

  • Burned: AMEX, Chase, Citi, Wells Fargo, and South County Bank (now Bank of Southern California)
  • Filed: 26-Feb-2015
  • MoC: 01-Mar-2015
  • 1st Payment (posted): 23-Mar-2015
  • Last Payment (posted): 07-Feb-2020
  • Discharged: 04-Mar-2020
  • Closed: 23-Jun-2020

I categorically refuse to do AZEO!

Re: Endless spam calls for loans after getting an auto loan

I have two phones.

One for family and close friends, that only rings or takes a message if number is in my phone directory, else drops the call.  Another that I never carry, where someone can leave a message and I delete all the spam/missed call's after checking voice mailbox.  That is the number to give any online form, sales person, doctor, loan co, etc.  If legit and they leave a message, you can call them back or not.

The personal phone number stays personal.

The loan is from DCU. It's the only bank I applied to.

Interesting, I wonder if they sold your information.

Try the National Do Not Call Registry.  I think it has worked well for my family.  I added all our cell phones, our home phone, even my work desk phone.
