Laughed today when checking my score on CU site.
Loved the opposite reasons for score with neither accurate.

@Kforce Hmm ... late to the show? It seems if I remember that Fico Score 2 is rugged and mean, so a score of 832 on a Range of 0 to 850 844 ain't too shabby? Course I have been wrong before ... ![]()
As we know the written verbage is generally worthless (non-sense) and I know to dismiss it and do! Take a Bow ... you earned it ![]()
FWIW - Fico score 2 has a real world max score of 844. It is EX score 3 that reportedly goes to 850. Regardless of the model, once a score is within a few points of max score, the reason code(s) become rather nebulous.
Below is a link to real world max scortes for various credit score models. (excludes VS 4.0, Fico 10 and Fico 10T). Refer to tables in message 107 and graphs in message 109.
BTW - My understanding is "to many accounts with balances" include all accounts - not just revolvers. I once received those same statements on a EX Fico score 3, TU Fico score 4 and EQ Fico score 5 (all Fico 04 versions) when just 2 accounts had balances, one being an installment loan and the other being an AMEX charge card. Did not get the "no recent revolving balances" on EX score 2 because AMEX charge cards are counted as revolvers in the older Fico 98 model.

I forget the exact wording, but I recently got denied for a CLI on a card, and the two reasons they gave were that I didn't have enough activity on the card, and that I was over the limit too many times.
There has only ever been a $2.15 YouTube subscription charged to the card every month, and it is paid in full every month, so I get the first reason.
The card has a $1500 CL on it, and has never had a balance reported higher than $2.15, so the 2nd reason makes no sense.
I don't have any other accounts with a history of being over their limit either.
