Favorite Card Visually

We all enjoy the rewards and features of our cards, but which cards make you feel good to pull out 'cause you like how it looks/feels?

Currently my favorite has to be my Discover it card, I have the mix-tape design. The clean front is strikingly professional, it's neat that the main plastic is orange which shows along the edge. Flipping around to the back, it's the first holographic magstrip card I've seen an is just neat. Bonus, my bank debit card is also a casette tape.

Runner up? I'd say the Chase Freedom Unlimited, the dark holographic-ish blue is nice, the lime green main plastic is a good contrast, if a bit odd. I don't like that it's still a pressed card vs rear-printed though. A shoutout does go to the Paypal Business Debit card, the shiny blue front and custom EMV chip are rather neat visually. (Yes, it's not a credit card Smiley Tongue)

My other cards? Ehhh.... The Paypal Cashback Mastercard had potential, but it looks cheaply printed. It would at least have been better with a non-matte finish, and the PP logo is actually slightly blurry because the print job is so bad. My Visa Classic from my local bank is a decent, yet boring purple with a little lighter 'swoosh' similar to the Chase. It's just plain print with no holographic shine or such with a regular plastic sheen, no matte finish or anything.

What's your favorite? If you can, drop images of the cards you like the most. Somewhere in the future I want one of those mythical metal cards. Smiley Wink

Re: Favorite Card Visually

Got to be the Amex Plat, not so great in a pic, but, in real life it feels and looks like the real deal.

Discover as well.

The Dawn of Discover just looks awesome. See my sig for the pic.

I also have the pride one and the iridescent one but I have them deactivated because I love the Dawn of Discover design so much.

I have thought about getting a CSP and then PCing it to the Freedom before the AF hits and keep using the CSP card until it expires because it’s so gorgeous (I like it more than the Reserve).

I’m quite fond of the look and feel of my AmEx Cash Magnet. It’s a bit redundant in my lineup as I have several other 1.5% cash back cards and the CL is on the low side at $2K, but it’s rather handsome IMO!

Seeing some love for AmEx and Discover, awesome. I do plan to get an AmEx eventually, least I know their cards are nice.

Re: Favorite Card Visually

I have to give a little love to our Discover it Cash Back cards, too... I chose ruby, which I think looks (and feels) a bit cheap, but my wife chose purple and it’s quite beautiful!

Re: Favorite Card Visually

I wish I could say Amex Rose Gold. But I have to go with my Discover Monet Artist Garden card.

Re: Favorite Card Visually

I was thinking about this same thing a few weeks ago when logged into my AMEX account and found the SPG image/name was replaced with the gawd-awful Bonvoy image/name

I thought the SPG card was very nice looking. Subtle, not a lot of noise like the new Marriot Bonvoy.

I've also always liked the AMEX charge cards. They're just timeless and classy looking. I think just about everyone can recognize the Green card.

It's not around anymore, but I loved the look of my old Virgin America card

My Amex platinum. Hands down. Feels great to pull that heavy card out and plunk it down 😂
