My favorite card designs in my existing card collection, as displayed in my signature line: BEFCU VISA, PACU MC, BoA Cash Rewards WMC, FNBO Amex, FNBO Amex Travelite, Amex Cash Magnet, WF Propel, BBR. Also Cap1 NHM MC (currently have a custom card design showing part of "The Creation of Adam" painting from the Sistene Chapel).
Don't have it yet but will be next card I app for I believe....

Best designed card in the world is the Credit One NASCAR card!
I kid of course. That is the worst, right next to the shoddy PenFed manufactured cards.
Best? AMEX Platinum and Gold. I have people comment on the cards most every day.
A geographically-dependent experience!
A metal Gold might stand out in some places, while a Centurion might not get a second glance in the SF Bay Area.
Had no idea chips were different sizes, lol. I guess my number one is that it needs to have the number printed on the back and have only the name and logo on the front, think BOA Cash Rewards style for example. I hate the old-fashion cards with embossed numbers. The paint/coloring wears off so quickly and makes the card look like crap. Oh and vertical oriented cards just look weird to me.

I personally like the look of "big boy" cards, and by that I mean cards without loud graphics/colors, cartoons, or any other aspect that gives the appearance of a card carried by a college kid. So typically black cards, business cards, or cards with a professional appearance. I will probably never have one, but the Amex Centurion always looked great to me.

Those do look better with the number on the back. I wish more card issuers would start puttin the Visa/MC logo on the back like Cap1 did with the Venture. That leaves the front of the card uncluttered.

My newest debit card lost the coloring about a month after receiving it. ![]()

Yes, I hate those cards. I hope the big US banks don't jump on that trend.
