Ahh, nothing like a little Christmas music to get into the holiday spirit... What are your favorite Christmas songs? As difficult as it is to narrow it down, mine would be a toss-up between "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" and "Silver Bells"

O Holy Night, which was my late grandmother's favorite and always makes me think of her with particular poignancy, as many childhood Christmases were spent visiting her and my grandfather.

"Angels we have heard on high" is one of my favorites. I love that looooong "O". I also like "Silver Bells". And when I'm in the mood, "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" is good for a chuckle.

I recall some years back some radio DJ got fired for playing "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" over and over and over...

My favorite Christmas songs are Silent Night and O Little Town of Bethlehem.

I hope Alvin and The Chipmunks never recorded "Grandma got run over by a reindeer" because I think that song with those voices would be the ultimate holiday musical nightmare.

O Holy Night, especially by a strong, deep male singer sends shivers down my spine when they hit "Fall on your knees, O hear the angel voices! O night divine, O night when Christ was born!"

I really can get choked up on that song.
