Forum Ranking Criteria Table 2024

Below is my most recent update of minimum thresholds for forum ranks by criteria. 

I have various versions of this embedded in an old thread and wanted to offer easy access in a single post thread. As mentioned in other threads, achieving said thresholds is not a guarantee of being awarded the listed rank. Some posters have far exceed listed thresholds without ranking up. A majority rank up within 10% of the listed minimum on posts unless they lack sufficient log ins or minutes on line.

Total posts includes topics started plus replies. Posts on smorgasboard are not counted in threshold totals. So, if posters are exclusive to smorgasboard they won't progress. A few posters have reported a leap frog in ranking up.

It has been speculated other criteria such as: page views, board views and messages read could impact rank. However, I have only tracked/studied the 3 criteria shown in the table. Data was/is readily available on posts but a bit sparse for minutes on line and sign ins above Senior Contributor.

I would like to keep this thread short so please do not reply to this post/thread.

If you disagree with the numbers listed or have additional data for a rank up, please post on the other thread which now numbers 40 pages. I still follow it periodically. At some point I may add a post on this thread with an updated table and further dialog but, for the most part this project is inactive.

Adjusted minimum post count for Senior,Super and Epic contributor ranks. Post counts over 100 are rounded to the nearest 10. Post counts over 5000 are rounded to the nearest 100. Post counts 15,000 and over are rounded to the nearest 1000.
