The offer looks like it works just like the popular Small Business Saturday credit back in November and December:
Thanks for the link! I'm downloading the ITUNE software now. I sure needed new music in my MP3 in time for gym today.
Just a cute little headsup for you guys...its gonna take them 2 billing cycles to refund those $7............................what the hell was I thinking when I spent $7 on Eminem??

I called AMEX to confirm the promotion and the rep didn't know anything about it. He put me on hold and never returned. So, I've decided to continue to buy my songs from Amazon. Plus, I wan't sure if songs from ITunes would work with my MP3.
Dont just "buy" the songs; register your amex card first. A week later you'll get ur itunes receipt and an email from Amex regarding the refund. BTW: you can make the itunes songs play on your mp3 player, but that would be PM stuff (not sure if its legal to discuss)

I registered that card when I first saw the post.
I know that this might sounds crazy asking, but is this really a AMEX freebie, or is there something else I need to know? I want to take the offer, but something is telling me that there is a catch to this.

I was able to convert the one itune song that I purchased to Windows and add it to my MP3 player. So I didn't waste $1.29. Now, I'm waiting for AMEX to issue the full $7.XX credit.
I spent $7.44 on Itunes using my American Expresson March 3 and the $7.05 credit posted to my statement on March 4th.
