Hyatt seems to charge me for snacks and waters I don't take.

I know when I stayed at the Hyatt they would charge something everyday and they told me it would not come out of my acct. until everything was cleared.  It took about a week.  Have you checked to see if the charges were reversed now?  If not, I would call over and over again.

Are you talking about the usual security hold, e.g., $50/day?

I was asking OP if he/she checked to see if the charge (hold) was reversed? That's to be expected at any hotel that I know of.

And wanted to let OP know that when I have stayed there (Hyatt) they always placed a hold but would then remove it, it just took about a week to reverse via online banking.

But the incidence at the Marriott that I had a negative experience with was truely a charge for x amount of drinks that they did wrongly charge but that was taken care of as well however  we had to fight them on that and we won. So if OP is wrongly charged then I would fight that for sure.
