Going to be reckless

I found out this morning all 4 of our AFNI accounts are being closed without needing payment due to non-verifiable info which totals close to 2k in money saved that I had set aside.  I also found out last night I made an error in our tax preparation, and after I file an ammendment we will get back another 700 in returns.

So we are going to be reckless.  LOL  We have been scrimping and savings and putting everything to the credit and collectors, etc.  We are taking a weekend for ourselves and going to disneyworld for the weekend.   WITHOUT THE KIDS.  hahahahahaha  It might be a stupid waste of money, but its a small drop compared to what I have been paying out and doing with our cash lately.  It will feel good to do something for ourselves before we get back to the grind.  Smiley Wink

Disneyworld without the kids...they might disinherit you!

Seriously, sometimes, despite the pinching, etc...you need to do somethig for yourself.

Good for you! Although this might be a pretty extreme example of "date night", from all that I've read (and experienced), it's really important to park the kids on Grandma every now and then and go be a couple.

The best things that kids can having while growing up are parents who still love each other and have something else to talk about besides the kids.

omg i totally agree!  and yeah, it is an extreme version, but when you take into consideration the fact that we now celebrate our anniversary with a family vacation including the kids and my mother, and we have not celebrated valentines day in about 4 years.  lol  We are due.  hehehehehe

I love Disney.  We honeymooned there for a week and enjoyed every minute of it.
