In the past people had said to ask to be transferred to the card image department, but I would assume that department no longer exists.

Unfortunately, even if the name of such CSR was known, due to the myFICO Forums TOS, that information cannot be shared publicly on here nor via PM.

Well than what exactly should I ask for? What can I tell them if they say it is "not possible?" Should I just keep calling in until I get someone who knows about it?

You can try escalating to a supervisor or manager. But, if several of those attempts yield a "no", then it's unlikely they'll be able to change it. Unless, they're able to get you to a department that does -- if it's still around.

You can also try their Twitter support or FB as someone suggested upthread.

Capital One Savor still stainless steel?

I called Capital One today about reverting my image card back to the original and managed to get to the right department this time around. I even have the number of that department. After a few minutes of them working on it, the person said that Savor is not stainless steel or any metal. Has anyone gotten a Savor card (not SavorOne which is plastic) recently (this year) and is it stainless steel? I would hate to go through all this only to get a plastic one.

Are you sure it's not SavorOne?

I have the regular Capital One savor card with a $95 annual fee and it's a metal card stainless steel

When was it delivered? I hope they didn't switch it without announcing it! In the reviews on Capital One's website, nobody says anything about it being metal of any kind.
