I was in a meeting at work the other day, and someone in the meeting had one of those cell phone/wallet things, and I noticed he had what appeared to be a Chase card, and had a silver Mastercard Logo on it, but it looked like the logo was cut into the card - not flat (maybe). I only saw it in it's card slot (the Mastercard logo side of the card was visible) It was not appropriate for me to ask him to see it.
I believe the World Elite MasterCard is the silver MC logo "etched" into the card. I could be wrong though
I saw that too, but it was a Chase Debit Card
So is it true that women are impressed by what your cards look like? Cuz all my cards are pretty bland looking save the 2 CapOne cards that have custom images.
I got a date tomorrow and dunno if I should pay with my Barclay card cuz it's just a white card... No fancy designs or anything.

I was at Walmart this evening checking out, the girl working the register was my guess about 16-17 (really young looking) and I paid with my gold amex. Suddenly her attitude changed from hating her job to asking how I was doing and so on.. Needless to say I quickly grabbed my bags and moved on. So yes people notice.

Wow thats funny, I guess it depends on your area. Around here I only get a mention on how heavy the CSP is. No real change in attitude however. Then usually one of their colleages goes "yea havent you seen those before". Never had anyone mention anything using any of my amex cards, Either gold or platinum. However I think the people that dont know credit think that the platinum is silver. Also cant say that I have ever shopped at a walmart before either.

Trust me the store is nothing special, you're not missing out on a thing. What didn't help the situation was (this is also the first time this has ever happened to me) you have to insert the card into the actual reader instead of swiping, so she got to come to the other side of the counter and show me wth she was talking about.

But why were you paying with your Amex gold - is that your hot cashier card
