I carry 10 credit cards with me at all times, I don't carry my personal or business debit cards anymore. I prefer the wallet called "hipster style". It isn't hipster as in skinny jeans and thick rimmed glasses by the way. It is a leather bi-fold wallet with 10 card slots, 5 each side. The wallet is actually square when closed, so it is taller than a normal bi-fold and this makes the wallet still lay relatively flat when full of cards. It also has a divider in the bills portion, so I don't have to show off my large bills every time I pay for something, I can just access the front portion with $20 notes and smaller. I bought mine on Amazon, it is made by Hammer & Anvil. Very affordable and has held up well. I bought 6 of them at once since I hate switching products when they stop making them and the original fails. Hopefully the six I bought will last my lifetime. Oh and my other cards are in my huge gun safe not my sock drawer.

Thanks for the lead on usable wallets. As to your cards in a gun safe ... drone with a scud missle??? Smiley Happy

Haha thats where i keep my cards too! Smiley Happy

Now that you have a Diners Club Card I might be looking for yours too. Awesome! Smiley Happy

Haha, that would do the trick! There are quite a few strange odds and ends in my gun safe. It is just a convenient place for them and keeps them out of my cash safe. They don't take up much space and it is also a good reason to get in there and look at those beautiful guns, haha.

I would post a picture of my wallet, but I don't know how. The wallet has been great. I hated the idea of being out and stopping by the grocery store and realizing I didn't have my best rewards card for super markets, so now I don't ever run into those situations.

Re: How do YOU carry your cards?

I have two wallets a small one for SD card and a larger one floor all other cards/everything else. The large wallet I can take alone or carry in my purse.

Surprised no one has said this yet, but just to be that guy...

APPLE PAY

it's awesome, and pretty widely accepted.

for everyone else, this is what i have:

http://www.thinkgeek.com/product/8cdd/

This baby is RFID blocking for security, and fits 10-15 cards in the slots to the right. ID window fits two, and behind the ID window, you can fit 5-6 more cards. All while keeping a slim profile. Ive had it for two years and it hasnt even started to wear. this thing is AWESOME.

Oooo, I might buy this right now.  Thanks for the tip!

This doesn't really make sense, but I cringe when I have to put more than one card in the same slot.  I can easily fit more cards into my wallet now by doing that (and I actually do it from time to time).  But I get paranoid that my shiny credit cards will get scratched up. Smiley Frustrated

In my experience, cards have protective coatings, and the numbers that are raised keep them far enough apart. If anything, the back gets scratched Smiley Happy

Over the past five years, I've gone up to about 11 CCs.  Naturally, most of my cards have gotten sock-drawered.  I'd say there are a total of six cards I use regularly enough (every 1-3 months).

However, carrying six friggin' CCs (in addition to debit cards, etc) isn't ideal, espeically when some of them aren't used for months at a time.  So how do YOU guys do it?

At the moment, I rotate cards in and out of my wallet on an as-needed basis.  For example: if I know I'm going to the mall, I'll pull my JCP CC out of my "regular rotation sock drawer" and throw it into my wallet.

But even that doesn't work out too well, because many times I'll find myself at a specific place, making a specific purchase that a specific card I left at home would've been perfect for.

I just share mine with family and friends until I want to use it and then I ask for it back.
