It's been some time since I've logged in. Took a much needed break from goodwill letter writing and stuff. Life was getting busy, work got hectic.
In the last little while some good things have happened. I'm still rockin my 120 CC or so. All paid on time. Only one that closed was Motorola by comendity. No big deal they didn't have much on that site anyways. So it wasn't a huge lose.
I also had a huge tax issue I was working on. Ended up having to hire a lawyer to deal with it. It came to 62k when all said and done. He put in all the paperwork for a OIC they of coarse denied it. That was last November of 15'. So this year was dedicated just to that. After about 9 months of him working with them, resubmitted all the paper work they finally agreed to settle the debt for 4700 dollars. I was beside myself. No tax liens, just pay it within 5 payments. Last week I sent in the last payment. I was literally beside myself when I received the call that they accepted. I would have totally been bummed out if all my hard work of rebuilding was set back with another tax lien as the one I have falls off in may of 17'.
17' is going to be my best year. All my BK's fall off and my tax liens!!! I have both dismissed and discharged. The dismissed fall off in January. The discharged in October. I'm hopping I can somehow get an early exclusion for the ones in October??
