I got the new style TJMaxx MC in the mail today. The CVV number of my old card was 999. Now they gave me a new code
Gonna try asking Cust Support next week if it is possible to get the number back and have a new card reissued but somehow i doubt this will happen
This was my "Herman Cain Card" 9-9-9
I've never heard of an issuer allowing someone to request a certain card sequence or CVV, so I really doubt they'd honor the request, but I guess there's nothing to lose by asking.
Their response will be "Nein, nein, nein!" LOL.

lol
And another fun thing about that ...
Your 9-9-9 upside down is 6-6-6 ...
So you could hand it to the cashier with a sinister laugh

Not going to happen as the CVV is generated off card number and expiration date
"The CSC for each card (form 1 and 2) is generated by the card issuer when the card is issued. It is calculated by encrypting the bank card number and expiration date (two fields printed on the card) with encryption keys known only to the card issuer, and decimalising the result."
