I also got an Air 2 when it came out. I use it mostly as digital sheet music, but occasionally also use it to browse the web on the couch or in bed. I use my desktop PC to get anything serious done though.

I have the iPad and like it spot, but I just also bought the iPad mini. A little easier to carry around, a bit larger than my iPhone and I read on the mini a lot with the Kindle app with no problem. I bought a blue tooth keyboard for the iPad but have only used it a few times. That's brings up another good question. What's the best way to read ebooks on the iPad? Kindle app? iBooks?
That I cannot answer.
I have used my iPad (now iPad Air2) for most of my postings on myfico. I use my MacBook Pro about 25% of the time.

Kindle App. Have read about 50 books on my IPad. Love it.

OK I'm sold. Now I just have to find a good deal on one. I am hoping that someone has a last minute Christmas deal.

Ah, you missed out on Best Buy's and Taegets Black Friday deals. Best Buy had $100 off ( where I got mine) and Target was giving out $140 Target GCs. These were for the IPad Air II

Yeah, the Target deal would have been awesome.
We bought my son one last November, An Air 128, and he has not put it down for one day the entire year. He does his schoolwork on it and he plays different apps on it as well. We bought my husbands sisters daughter an ipad mini this October and sent it off for xmas few weeks ago. Tech support and customer support is way above expectations. Which is really nice. Be sure to pop for applecare. Its cheap enough and covers 2 years.

Thanks Cold
Now it's just a matter of finding a good deal on one. I know I need 64GB. Can't decide if I really need cellular access on it or not.
