I have neither one. I'm trying to decide
I've used both for several years.
I find Chase vastly more useful, but that's because they offer great travel cards and I have no objection to annual fees.
Which cards are you considering? I'm guessing you're looking for a pretty simple cash back card.
Yes.
Lol the opinions are going to be all over the pond here. I would say that Discover is far superior when it comes to customer service. However, Chase is a little more “upscale” if I can say that, and has more options to be honest.

Haha this should be a fun thread! I can say personally I have never had a relationship with Chase, however I am on the blacklist for reasons no one will tell me. I’m fine with it... I see how they AA. Discover has been good to me.
Haha, I have the opposite happening with me. Chase gave me a 2nd chance (3rd chance, actually), while Discover has blacklisted me.
Also I should mention that Discover is the only creditor who has ever sued me. They skip right past the Collections stage, and jump right into the filing suit stage. I think from my DoFD to when I got served papers at my front door was right about 6 months. Never been sued by anyone else, even though I've owed many creditors much more money and was delinquent for a lot longer.
That said, if you pay your bills on time then that's not a problem
But if you ever lose your ability to pay them due to unforseen circumstances, expect Discover to be the first one to deliver courts summons to your door.

Apples to apples (It vs. Freedom) this is probably true. Chase does have better service for certain cards and customers.

Haha ahh yes I have a terrible objection to AF. I'm looking at BT. I think Discover is probably better in that regard but I'm wanting a low ongoing interest in case I don't make the interest free period. I like credit card designs. Ones that CCC 's make not personal ones. I like Visa designs so that would be Chase again though discover is better maybe for BT... What do y'all think
Discover is generally a better option for BTs and promo APRs. Even they are increasing their non-promo BT fee to 5% though (I think Chase did this on all/most cards some time ago).
Discover actually lets you pick your card design from 143 options (colors, hockey teams, flags, animals, etc.).
