Kudos

Been trying very hard to give "kudos" to Sandibeach22 and takeshi74 but simply cannnot figure out how. I have wasted 3/4 hour on this, so just know:

KUDOS to you!

kudos AGAIN

In the last post I neglected to hit the button "notify me by email if someone replies", so am doing so now. As you may have guessed, I am no computer whiz.

I NEED A TEENAGER!

Make sure you are logged in.  Click the star under their name next to the post you want to provide "kudos" for.

Re: kudos AGAIN

I'll respond to this to make sure you saw palmdale's response in the other thread since it addresses your problem in a clear, concise way.

I had a good bit of trouble with this when I first started using the forum too. In my experience it is usually a login-related problem. If you scroll to the top of the page, just below the credit card recommendations and banner ad, you'll see one of two sets of options, either "Register - Sign in - Help" or "'your username' - Sign Out - My Settings - Help"

If you see the option with sign in, that's a clear indicator you need to sign in before leaving the kudos. Sometimes it may time you out, in which case I think it might still look like you're signed in even if you aren't. Simply refresh the page and if you're not signed in, it'll give you the sign in option and you can click that to sign in/sign back in. Once you sign in you can click the button that'll say something like "return to forums" to not only go back to the forums in general but to go directly back to the thread you left to sign in.

Bottom line, if you're clicking the Kudos star and nothing is happen, try signing in. If it looks like you're signed in but it's still not working, try refreshing the page, then signin in.

Good luck.

Re: kudos AGAIN

I've noticed sign in issues personally in recent weeks, You log in and think you are signed in, but it actually never fully registers. You have to double check as stated already. I haven't noticed the issue the last few days though.
