@Anonymous wrote:Has anyone used this streaming Kodi Krypton 17? I am curious if the picture quality is the same.
And now I have been researching "kodi" haha thanks! Going to try this out now
Hahahaha.. It is amazing. Go on Ebay. The guy that sold me the stick loaded it up.. I was shocked when I tested the cable channels. I had one tv connected to cable and the other tv on the side connected to the stick to do the comparison.
I tested out CNN and Fox news. It was the same except the stick was just a few minutes late streaming. But hey, I am glad I don't have a cable bill anymore.

I have Kodi ver 16 something on a Firestick and the picture looks just as good
@Anonymous thanks. I am trying to stream the new Fifty shade darker movie in exodus and it looks really dodgy on my tv screen if you know what I mean. I don't if it is becasue it is soo new. But hope to get this tv soon and are enjoying yours
.
Probably due to the quality of the video. Some of the newer ones are not very good.
Thanks @Anonymous

A quick google it just looks like downloadable software? I'm assuming by stick you mean someone pre-installed it on a USB stick that you're running off of, or am I confuzzled again?
Hrm, I have a slew of laptops laying around for stupid reasons, think may try this on an 2013 Macbook Air and just see.

Seems common practice is to load Kodi onto a streaming device like firestick, firetv etc.. I was curious and loaded Kodi onto my macbook pro and it seems pretty cool. I think I may end up trying this out
Thanks everyone

Yes, you can. I did one myself and just got basic kodi stuff... I wanted some other softwares that I kept getting an error on so just decided to buy a pre-loaded stick with what I wanted you know. But you can do it yourself.
