Wait, so could you use google pay or samsung pay by the phone? Like how do I add my cards as digital? I got my membership cards like exxon, oreilly, etc on the app which is shows me the info and i don't carry it anymore which is good. i still have pics of it, i could just type it in. I have like 20 cards right now. please help lol.

Yes you absolutely can!!!for Google Pay, go to Payments and add credit/debit card. Follow the instructions (which usually involve your bank verifying it is you somehow). I assume Samsung pay is the same. Then at any location that takes "tap to pay" just hold your phone up to that pad and it will vibrate etc

Thanks bro! The thing is, I lock my cards. Would it still work and how many cards can I add to google pay? I know samsung pay is 10. I guess i never have to cancel my 20 cards when I turn 50+ lol...

Re: Metal cards to plastic.

Speaking of Google Pay... how does it work with your cashback categories? I'm assuming it doesn't affect it. I only used it once so far for a Discover promo, and it appears it coded correctly at a supermarket where I tried it out.

On a separate but related note, I think it would be awesome to shelve some cards and only keep them in the digital wallet. However, I feel like I'd be upset with myself for missing a cashback opportunity at a place that didn't have a "tap to pay", and was forced to use the physical catch all card that I would carry as a backup.

For some reason I can't get my chase freedom and flex card to work, it works online but not in store. Screenshot_20210627-181253_Google Play services.jpgScreenshot_20210627-181253_Google Play services.jpg
