Well, I'm sort of on the other side here! While I too find it a little hard to be supportive and respectful,( if necessary I can always pop over to FT, look for an innocent post of the form "How can I load bluebird at Walmart with a One Vanilla" and respond "What part of "Read the Wiki before posting" did you fail to understand, you useless newbie...")
it's actually the users here that jump on MS things way too quickly: "They will close all your cards and blacklist you for ever if you...." without any detailed knowledge, missing what to me is the more dangerous enabling of encouraging people with prior credit issues to apply for several cards and congratulating them on CLIs.

This forum is like a Capital One Secured card... Eventually it will have served its purpose and it will be time to move on. If the mods chase enough users/customers away, I'm sure myFICO may then wake up and make some changes.I have yet to see one credible instance of "mods chasing users/customers away" in this thread.
If we're doing something wrong, fine tell us and we'll see if we can fix it; however, this type post serves absolutely no purpose without data as from the stats I occasionally get, we are still trending up in both users and post count. I'm not seeing how we're the big bad wolf, heck none of us is on often enough to do that much damage and every moderator action is tracked and viewable by both other moderators and admins... we're no different than you in that regard.
I've got no real issue with mods here... I'm here to learn and if you guys wanna censure threads buy burying them and moving them, no big deal, I'll just read another one.

The only time I've seen mods give ask people to be supportive is when people are outright rude and provide no value (constructive or positive) to their reply which I fully support.
What you deem "rude", I might deem an appropriate response to a user who needs a wake up call. But whatever... To each their own.
Your 'appropriate response' though in essence may be appropriate can still be 100% rude. Constructive feedback provides "wake up calls" but still can be done in a friendly way.

haha, not gonna argue about it... All I'm just saying it's subjective. I'm trying my best to keep quiet as constructive feedback isn't appreciated here. myFICO is the land of rainbows, bunnies, puppies, fluffy clouds, and credit approvals... All is Zen here.

Haha... The congrats thing is overwhelming at times but people was to share and receive praise for their "accomplishment". I'm guilty of it as well. I must say there are some very supportive peeps here - I especially love the cut/paste congrats

Who says constructive feedback isn't appreciated here? Thats a huge majority of what is seen on all of these boards. Perhaps a supportive community just isn't for you if you cant differentiate between constructive feedback and rudeness. I've provided many constructive posts and never once been reprimanded by a mod. Anyway, our bickering isn't adding value to this post so I'll just leave it at that.

Who says constructive feedback isn't appreciated here? - I did, did you miss something?
Perhaps myFICO can have a "rudeness" monitor - like the monitor that rides with children on a bus. I elect you. You are obviously the expert on what's rude or not, right? Obviously only you know the difference between constructive feedback and rudeness
I've provided many constructive posts and never once been reprimanded by a mod. - Wow, that's wonderful! Would you like a cookie?

What I love is when I have a question and google it and the hit results show that someone on FT asked the exact same question I have. I click the link to be redirected and when I get to the thread and the only responses are snide posts to use the search function. Why do people feel the need to even take the time to respond to those posts if they are soo annoyed? They just wasted my time, because I was trying to find the answer to the same question. In addition, if someone is kind enough to answer sometimes the answer gets buried in a bunch of posts flaming the OP. Also that post now pops up in the search function for anyone else asking the same question going forward. The jerk posters just increased the clutter of the board and as a result increased the likelihood that someone else may not find the answer and repost the question in a whole new thread.
