I think they are lower because the amount of new accounts in 6 months and a total of 7 inquiries across the board 3 TU 2 EQ 2 EX

Thanks.  I agree.

I've been adding new accounts slowly (because I get so many rejections!) and I noticed my mortgage scores took a bigger hit when I added 2 new accounts in the same month than when I added a single new account.

But don't worry:  it won't take long for your mortgage scores to climb up from the score hits from all these new accounts.  If your scores act like mine, when you see the mortgage scores climbing only 3 to 4 points over a period of 3 or 4 months, that's when you'll know your AAoA has recovered from the score hits from the new accounts and the score hits from the inquiries, but not yet from the "new account penalty."  Your mortgage scores will recover from that penalty after the youngest account is 18 months old.

@RobynJ  Congrats on a superb job of getting your credit scores to those levels in such a short amount of time and providing the DPs.

Thank you, the difficult part of the build just begun. I never thought it would be such a hard task to keep myself from applying for more credit. I have had a little fun with pre quals to ease the urge of actually applying.  One thing I learned on here from a few of the other posters is that your profile suffers when you can't let your aaoa grow. That is what my goal is now to get a year minimum before I app anymore. For now I will just suffice with graduation of the Cap 1, Disco, and best of all the Navy NRewards. My navy already grew from $200 to $700 and should unsecure this coming month. The other 2 should also unsecure anytime now. Then I will play the CLI game for a bit. Once a my aaoa are at a year I will get one more card and cancel the only one that has a AF (Open Sky).

Cap 1 secured graduated? Not mine 😑 Congrats

I wonder if SSL had a big part in your score jump. And yeah congrats for not apping for 6 months. Before I knew this forum I just crazily apped in October and Jan, incurring like 15 Ex HPs and for what? 2 store cards and C1 S1 😭 It's been 8 months from last HP and card, so am ready to app soon. Not sure if Average age of accts is 11 month or a year..
