I noticed mine changed from green to to the whitish blue color. I need to look at one of my Chase visas and see if they billed me for it. I definitely never oked it
I just called the Manager of the store, and looked into my acct and didnt see anything that I upgraded my membership. In the computer he was looking at it still shows my green card membership, which is a relief! I just thought that was wierd it changed, right after I went in the store too!

I have the MC version, and when I login the icon I see is for the 'Plus' account as well, although I don't have a 'Plus' membership. Apparently they always show the 'Plus' card regardless of which membership type we have.
I'm truly sorry to hear that the upgrade you were promised isn't going to happen right away... hopefully this is just a temporary delay, and you'll be upgraded soon!

I understand being upset but it is not the end of the world. Be patient and you will be approved for major cards, making this upgrade meaningless. Again, applying for too many "short term fix" store cards can backfire on you, and I think you are starting to see that effect. With 200k in credit most of which is store cards, lenders will be reluctant to extent major credit. Its just the way it is. Unfortunately you have kind of painted yourself into a corner IMO.
Best of luck.
I was going to to say serves her right, but your reply has much more sugar coating than mine would.
This could turn into something awesome. Its not likely... but theres totally a chance when calling you could figure out a way to force upgrade. Well in your case it wouldn't be FORCE as it would be FOLLOWING THROUGH but still. When one door closes.....

Yesterday I was busy busy and missed your post, pizza. So sorry this happened. It sucks when those who work for a company give out bad information.

Most companies are not bound by information relayed by CSRs. Amex recently updated their T&Cs to make this clearer, basically the written agreement represents the sole blah blah blah.
This makes sense from a company point of view, you don't want to be bound by whatever an overworked low-paid rep may say on a bad day.. For good customer relations you might decide (if it is cheap enough) to honor a mistake, or you might decide, as a blanket policy, never to do this. (e.g. when you have lots of customers, and relatively few of any high value)
Something similar happened to me with my Wally card, chatted for an increase and was approved for 6k->10k, logged back in later in the day and the cli wasn't there so called and either the csr increased someone elses line or just flat out lied to me as the second csr said they saw no record of an increase.
