New BofA cards

I have noticed that everyone is already showing the new BofA card designs in their signatures.  Am I the only one that hasn't recieved a new card yet?  I wonder if there's some reason why I wouldn't have gotten it yet??

Honestly I have several cards that I haven't recieved new versions of yet.  Ga's Own CU, DCU, PayPal Extras, BofA, Fidelity AMEX, Sallie Mae, Freedom, IHG, Discover...

With the deadline being the end of the year I would have thought they would have started to roll in by now.

Re: New BofA cards

Yeah. i also have a whole group of them not yet chipped too.

Unless we personally request them, it's beginning to look like they may wait until the very last few weeks to send them out.

You aren't missing anything. Even if merchants turn on their chip readers. I have only had two or three transactions require the chip to be read, and nearly all my cards have chips now. Even without a chip, the card with only mag stripe will swipe just fine.

In other words, a card without an EMV chip will not be required to try to be insterted into the EMV chip reader to read the non-existent EMV chip that isn't on the card Smiley Happy

Re: New BofA cards

I do like the new BofA designs...my old card is straight up garrish and oh so ugly.  Venture and Aviator are still the 2 best looking cards I have (don't like my CSP...kinda boring meh look now)

Re: New BofA cards

I chatted with a BOA CSR and requested the new card. I like it so much better.

Re: New BofA cards

I still have the old design on my Better Balance card. It doesn't expire until October 2016, and I have no reason to ask for a replacement, so I probably won't get the new design until then. I barely use this card, so it doesn't make a difference to me.

Re: New BofA cards

I requested a replacement card like 3 weeks ago and never got it. I should call them.
