1 male 8yr manx, russian blue with stubby tail and
1 female 2yr old manx, black with one small
white spot on her chest, with no tail.

If i can figure out how to post pic's -I will post them.

Nothing wrong with George.  I had a female once who's name was Gus and she was the prissiest cat I've ever had.  (Named before I got her.)

MsMs: here's the way you work this: tell MrMs that your cat(s) is/are too fat, and they need an exercise playmate!

Around about the time we switched to daylight savings, my cat accidentally discovered that if she wanted to be let out, fed, given water, scratched, loved, played with or whatever during the night, all she had to do was jump on the headboard of the bed and start gently batting things around. Bat, bat. Bat, bat, bat. Bat, bat, slither, clink (sound of reading glasses hitting the floor.) Now as soon as she jumps on the headboard, I'm stumbling down the hall to do her bidding, whatever it takes so that I can go back to sleep.

We're getting her a kitten playmate when DD#1 comes home from New Orleans and can enforce the rules during the daytime. Then I can lie in bed and listen to Kitty Olympics as they tear around the house.

Oh, I've tried that- usually I say they need another kitten to keep them young and playful... but with 9 already, ranging from 8 years old to about 2, it's less effective...

Especially with the youngest being my D'argo- we got him snipped early so he and his sister wouldn't have issues, and he's never really grown up.  He still tears around chasing, wrestling, and otherwise tormenting his older companions.  Doesn't stop several of them from being quite overweight, though...

Kitty Olympics is fun!  Especially with stairs, or long hallways.  When we lived in the apartment, there was a long straight stretch from one end of the living room, down the hall, then a slight turn into the bathroom.  If we didn't have company, we'd just pull the bathroom door to instead of latching it, as their food and litter boxes were in there.  Imagine my surprise when I hear the Wildebeest Stampede down the hall, and then a furry rocket bursts through the door, brushes past my bare bottom, and leaps into the toilet I was about to sit on!

Of course, then there was a soggy blur back out of the toilet, down the hall, and under the futon...  Poor little thing; she didn't realize the lid was up...
