Back in the day, I lived in your area and frequented the Holiday Store on Lyndale South and 84th St.

Like others, credit card wallet so I can put my credit cards, AU card, old licenses & student IDs (because of the pictures!).
I have a fire-box/safe (lockable, hangs out in the closet, but has all of the most important paperwork to grab in case of fire or emergency, which is why I call my 'sock drawer' my 'sockbox') that I keep them all in.  Every quarter it gets all rearranged as I take credit cards in/out for the spend.   Most of my cards are in my Samsung Pay wallet, though, so even though I have cards in my actual wallet, I rarely take them out.

Everyone's different. I label and organize my logs with the following:

DD = Daily Driver = Cards used multiple times per week/month = Stored in Wallet

OU = Occasional Use = Cards used 1x+ per 2 to 3 months = Stored in Wallet or Safe

SD = Sock Drawer = Cards used 1x+ per 5 to 6 months just to keep them open and not fall into the dormant Ex category. = Stored in Safe
